China's increasing air and water pollution mean that concerns over health are never far from the public's mind. "Mite control" has become the latest buzz-word among health-conscious Chinese. A study suggests that one-third of people in China suffer from some kind of allergy or allergy-related illness, with allergies to house dust mites accounting for 60-70% of that number. Concerns about mites are particularly strong among households with infants and pets.
